ELIGIBILITY AND ONBOARDING

One relationship, with MultiBank Exchange

Institutional counterparties are onboarded by MultiBank Exchange, which remains the client-facing relationship for onboarding, pricing, execution and settlement instructions. MB.io sits behind as the liquidity source and the settlement venue.

A counterparty that prefers a direct relationship with MB.io may open one. It is not required in order to settle in digital assets through MultiBank Exchange.

All counterparties complete full KYC and AML onboarding. Pre-trade anonymity on the venue does not reduce any client due diligence requirement.

WHAT A MEMBER WOULD PUT IN PLACE

Four items

  • Onboarding with MultiBank Exchange, including KYC and AML
  • Agreement to the settlement assets it will accept, recorded in writing
  • A whitelisted wallet for delivery, verified in advance
  • Named operational contacts for instruction, confirmation and exception handling

Custody and delivery

Member USDU would be held in segregated wallets at a licensed custodian and would remain the member’s property. It would not sit on the MultiBank Group balance sheet. Any inventory held by a MultiBank entity for operational purposes would be separate, capped, and reported separately.

WHAT MEMBERS WOULD NOT BE ASKED TO DO

Settlement only

Counterparties are not asked to hold any asset as an investment, or to change how they trade. The agreement covers which assets they will accept in settlement and where delivery goes.
